Plastic pollution is a global crisis—over 350 million tonnes of plastic are produced annually, half of which is used just once before being discarded. At Tubing Chiang Mai, we’re passionately committed to minimizing our plastic footprint and preserving the natural beauty of Mae Taeng and Chiang Mai for future generations.

Our ongoing sustainability efforts include:

• Clean, Safe Drinking Water: Providing filtered drinking water stations on all tours to encourage guests to refill reusable bottles.

• Elimination of Single-Use Plastics: Removing unnecessary single-use plastics from our operations and offering sustainable alternatives.

• Awareness & Advocacy: Engaging guests, partners, and staff in adopting plastic-reduction practices through continuous education and support.

• Community Waste Management: Actively collecting waste during tours, both during trekking and in rivers, while promoting and educating our community about proper waste management for enhanced efficiency and sustainability.
